Privacy Policy

AlifBay Billing ("the Service") is operated by AlifBay Apps ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it when you use the Service.

Information we collect

• Account data — your email address and password (stored as a secure hash) when you sign up.
• Business profile — the details you enter in Settings: business name, address, phone, email, GSTIN, state, bank details, UPI ID, and invoice preferences.
• Billing records you create — customers, products, invoices, and quotations, including customer names, phone numbers, addresses, and GSTINs that you enter.
• Payment data — if you subscribe to Pro, payments are processed by Razorpay. We store only your subscription status and identifier — never your card, bank, or UPI credentials.

How we use it

• To provide the Service: generating invoices and PDFs, computing GST, producing reports, and sharing documents when you choose to.
• To manage your subscription and respond to support requests.
• We do not sell your data, show you ads, or share your data with third parties except the service providers below.

Service providers

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Razorpay — subscription payment processing (India).

Sharing you control

When you use "Send via WhatsApp" or "Copy public link", the invoice PDF and its public page become accessible to anyone who has that link. Links use unguessable random tokens, but treat them as you would any shared document. Deleting an invoice removes its public page.

Data storage & security

Your data is stored with Supabase with row-level security, meaning your records are only accessible from your own account. Connections are encrypted with TLS.

Your customers' data

You are responsible for the customer information you enter into the Service. We process it only on your behalf to provide the Service and never contact your customers ourselves.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at support@alifbay.in and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies/local storage for keeping you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
